{"id":982,"date":"2018-03-20T10:06:59","date_gmt":"2018-03-20T10:06:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/rosarioduarte.kobudev.com\/?p=982"},"modified":"2018-05-02T10:13:36","modified_gmt":"2018-05-02T10:13:36","slug":"passports-which-changes-from-today-on","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rosarioduarte.kobudev.com\/en\/passports-which-changes-from-today-on\/","title":{"rendered":"Passports: which changes from today on?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Yesterday, Decree-Law n. \u00ba 19\/2016 was published and carried changes regarding the request and issuing of passports.<\/p>\n<p>Here are some highlights:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>frequent travelers may own a passport comprising more pages \u2013 48 instead of the usual 32 \u2013 \u00a0which means, in practice, the renewal is not so often, saving time and money;<\/li>\n<li>it will be possible to request the standard passport online in case the passport is lost, destroyed or stolen abroad. This request will then be forwarded to the closest consulate making the process more effective.
